Post new loading mechanism for external version files issue
our application is loading the PIE.htc file via a common php script, and the files are not contained within the site directory

so /media.php?file=PIE.htc

which sends headers and pushes the file from the file system... so it doesn't seem to be loading the external files required to do anything...
don't think I can use the pie load path either, since I don't have a directory location to point it to...

is it supposed to load those external js files directly from the same directory on the file system, or is it trying to load from the same url path?

Sounds like the loader might need some changes to handle your setup. It's not clear to me, are you also wanting to serve the js files through that media.php, or are they at normal paths?

I went through the process to serve the files in a different way..
instead of /media.php?file=PIE.htc

it now loads with /media/htcs/PIE.htc and the version javascripts are loading too

though the loader might have additional configurations for the load path

so instead of the -pie-load-path: "http://any.server/path/to/pie-js-files/";

there could be
-pie-load-path-678: "http://any.server/media.php?file=PIE_678.js";
-pie-load-path-9: "http://any.server/media.php?file=PIE_9.js";

actually, I never did test to see if -pie-load-path: "http://any.server/media.php?file="; would work

I solved my problem, but perhaps others might not have the freedom to do so...
which still leads me into another problem for another topic..
