Post Image does not display until mouse hover
Weird problem in IE8 where an image with rounded corners does not display until a move my mouse on top of where it should be. I have the following CSS:

.login-button .home-page-agent-link a:link, .login-button .home-page-agent-link a:visited {
color: #ffffff;
text-decoration: none;
font-weight: 700;
font-size: 100%;
display: block;
text-align: center;
padding-top: 15px;/*padding-top: 22px;*/
background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #042550;
float: right !important;
-webkit-border-radius: 15px;
-moz-border-radius:15px;
border-radius: 15px;
width: 180px;
height: 38px;/*height: 45px;*/
margin-top: 7px; /* fix button alignment */
}
.login-button .home-page-agent-link a:hover {
color: #ffffff;
text-decoration: none;
font-weight: 700;
font-size: 100%;
display: block;
text-align: center;
padding-top: 15px;/*padding-top: 22px;*/
background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #103c76;
float: right !important;
-webkit-border-radius: 15px;
-moz-border-radius:15px;
border-radius: 15px;
width: 180px;
height: 38px;/*height: 45px;*/
margin-top: 7px; /* fix button alignment */
}

When the page loads, I can see the image display briefly with the "non-css3pie" square corners. The images then disappear. However if I move my cursor to where they should be, they then display with the desired rounded corners. I can move my cursor away from the image and it continues to display correctly.

I removed the entire section for :hover and now the image doesn't display at all. It's there, and if I mouse over it I can click on it. It's just not visible. But with the CSS :hover section added it would begin hidden and then become visible after hovering over it. So something definitely bizarre happening.

I'd really appreciate help with this. Last thing before I can launch this site.

Hello. I've got the same problem. I've made a carousel with some hidden divs, and a link with border-radius and simple background color inside each div. The link also has a hovering style with other background color.

The result is that I can see the rounded background of the link only in the first div, the visible div. When I click to show other div of the carousel, the link of the other div appears without any background. But if I place the button over the link then the "hover style" with rounded corners and different background color appears. Then if I move away the cursor, the "normal state" style finally appears correctly. But I need to "hover" the link to see the "normal style".

I know that the problem is not in the carousel code, because there are other links outside the carousel, with rounded corners and colored background, and these appear correctly.

Same problem for me, the button is hidden until I mouse over...

Did you find a solution?

Thanks,
Olivier Hélin

Do you have the behavior applied to the "a" rule and not only :hover?

I am having what appears to be the same problem (see viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2008)

Certainly in my case, PIE is not being applied to the hidden elements. Once they are visible, you then need to mouse over the elements to get PIE to render.
