Jason:

I managed to get it working... somehow... I think when i added "AddType text/x-component .htc" to the .htaccess file it took a while for it to take effect... but now it appears to be fine...

Thanks for a great product...

Bill

Hopefully very soon. Unfortunately I've found some issues with the current code that I'm not comfortable releasing, but I think I'm close to having them all fixed.

Anybody want to help out updating documentation to include the IE9 support? :)

By the way folks, 1.0beta5 is now released which includes the full IE9 gradient and border-image support. Grab that instead of the build in this thread.

It looks like background-size is included in beta 5, but I don't see it on the docs. Still updating?

Also, thanks for the latest beta!

@matthewdl: beta5 only supports background-size in IE9, the docs say this implicitly (they say it is unsupported in IE6-8) but I suppose it could be made clearer. The most recent dev code supports background-size in IE6-8 as well, but that didn't make it into beta5.

Hi Jason

Thanks for your great work !

I'm building a test site with lots of modern technics and while putting css gradient on various elements it don't render on IE9.

- I'm using PIE 1.0 beta5.
- I added the htc mime type in the .htaccess and even httpd.conf.
- I'm using this rule for my gradient : -pie-background: linear-gradient(#46BFD3 0%, #3398B7 4%, #287790 96%, #3B9EB5 100%);
- The html element targetted is a LI one.
- I tryed with a simple 2 colors gradient without more luke.
- My IE9 browser is not on my localhost dev station, it's on local network.
- The css gradient on this element is rendered correctly on IE7 and IE8.
- In the rendered HTML, PIE.htc is loaded correctly by IE9 as a css rule using behavior.

Do you please have and idea on this ? What could I test to give you more informations ?

Sincerely.
