Hello Jason, I receive this error " 'I.currentStyle' is null or not an object" on my project and I have created a page test for you in order to do debug and to understand better why this happened.
The test case is this; if you pres many times and fast "Ajax Call" button you will receive that error.
In my project I receive that when I switch the tabs and new content is loaded with ajax but in the test page only when I press manny times and fast on ajax button I receive that, maybe this will help you to debbug better this situation.

They've just been waiting on a test case so if yours reproduces the error reliably then that's very helpful.

1) I have attached you archived files; Unfortunately the server is sometimes busy so if you want to run locally you must change the path to ajax page on ajax script from head.

2) Other question , I have tested for long time PIE.js and in this morning I've seen something very unusual;it seems that this function is recalling forever and always runs. To test that on ie8 I have added an alert "alert(b.innerHTML);" on below function at line 880 and this alert is given and repeat over and over for each item. I don't know if this is OK for browser performance
