I've been keeping a close eye on the progression of the file, and its doing great things! The one thing that will always be a thorn in the side with it's functionality is that if the user is on IE<9 and have images turned off for whatever their reason may be, you will get the image box, as pie is painted as an image.

True. If you know of a way to detect disabled images, please let me know and I'll gladly add logic to PIE to disable rendering if that's the case. This will let it fall back to plain square corners etc.
