Post unable to integrate pie in css
Having trouble getting PIE 1.0.0 to work. Hoping I can get some useful advice here.
I downloaded the pie zip file and extracted all the files.
The pie files are located in a sub folder in the same directory as my html & CSS files.
My Documents\HTML\American Appliance\AAHC_home.html
My Documents\HTML\American Appliance\AAHC_stylemain.css
My Documents\HTML\American Appliance\

I have been trying to see pie correct the shortfalls of IE8 by launching the html file using Notepad++ and viewing the pages in IE8 locally.

I have followed the documented way of using PIE in a css rule.
behavior: url(pie/; and several other combinations such as
behavior: url(;
behavior: url(;
behavior: url(;
behavior: url(/pie/;
behavior: url(/pie/;
All of these have been unsuccessful.

I have read forums that have suggested changing css rules for elements position:relative and have tried that. No better outcome.

I have used The (Mark of the Web) to disable active X warnings in IE. That also did not change the outcome.

I have come to the conclusion that I probably have two possible problems.
1. I am still somehow using the incorrect file path.
2. I am viewing pages locally and the htc files can only be implemented by external server.

Really just don't know what I have to do to get it to work.
