Hi

I've been using PIE succesfully now on a couple of projects however the project I am currently wokring on seems to have thrown up a few issues.

I am using PIE on a contact page to round the corners of my form input fields and also to provide a drop shadow to one image.

This page renders perfectly in IE7 but in IE8 the form input fields disappear and my image doesn't receive its drop shadow.

This is a live site so for the time being I've just removed PIE from IE 8 but anyone offer any suggestions as to why this might be happening?

Just been doing some trials and this is related to backgrounds. If I remove the background from the parent element whether this be an image or just a colour PIE then works.

Anyone got any ideas?

Strange that IE7 works fine.

Check the first section on the Known Issues documentation page, regarding z-index and disappearing backgrounds. This is most likely what you're running into.
