Post Opacity for non-pie elements
Hello Jason,
I have a section container in which I have a custom drop-down list for which I want to apply opacity using -ms-filter. Unfortunately I don't understand why this drop down is affected because I apply pie only for container and not for it's elements and that opacity looks ugly on IE8.
Can you help me with a solution for this pls.
Thank you.

I don't understand your question; PIE does not do anything with opacity.

Post Re: Opacity for non-pie elements
I have created here an example (html+css without pie.js applied) to understand better:
http://jsfiddle.net/UKppg/316/

In my project main container has pie.js applied for border-radius and box-shadow but that dropDown has not and only for this dropdown I want to add some opacity:
opacity: 0.7;
-ms-filter: "progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.Alpha(Opacity=60)";
filter: progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.Alpha(Opacity=60 ) ;

but the opacity looks very faded on IE 8 and only inside this container for my dropDown has this strangely behavior and I'm wondering if the container elements are influenced in any way even if you do not apply pie.js for them.

Thank You.
