I am thrilled to hear this. I am big fan of extJS and css3pie which i have used in my projects where my clients liked them very much.. waiting for the new release with new css3 properties

@web2000: Longhand properties will likely never be supported due to technical and performance limitations. But you can get the same visual result with the border-radius shorthand.

@Matthew: Thanks for expressing your concerns. I could have made it clearer that PIE is remaining independent with the same goals and direction as it always has had, and it will remain focused on doing a small set of things well and with a minimum of user effort. It will not be “rolled up” as you said. Just like RaphaelJS, jQTouch, and the other Sencha Labs projects have remained independent.

For everyone begging for a beta3 release, I hear you! It is coming soon, as soon as I have time to do all the documentation updates and other housework that goes along with a release.

I’m a little discouraged by this. I’ve found ExtJS and now Sencha’s products consistently bloated and unusable. It seems like their focus is the opposite of CSS3Pie: fast and very easy to implement.

It’s also strange to have this incorporation so early in the product. I can’t imagine you got full value for how valuable this product actually is.

At least promise that this product isn’t getting “rolled up” in another Sencha product.

And I agree, can we just get the latest release as a beta3?

I am not sure if this is the right place for this comment but here goes.. Can you guys support border-bottom-right-radius and the like. This is a very useful CSS3 property and I have had to do hacks to get ie to look similar to other sites.
